question for mods of lord of the rings or the great war?

are there standalone lor dof the rings mods available?

is the great war mod standalone?

or do i need medieval total war 2 or otehr total wars?

i wont support steam.

GoG i would prefer to use. i am looking forward trying out total war saga troy.

i tried playing total war once in rome. i couldn't control the armies at the time. they would run around in circles. was that just me or bad A.I? are there hobbit mods of lord of the rings or the hobbit trilogy is in those too?

will the Simarllion get done one day?

what about fourth age total war?

Nope, they are not standalone. You need the games. M2TW can be found in CDs in some shops. However, for NTW, you need steam.

im assuming naploen total war an onward they all need steam?

i saw on amazon there is a total war battle pack with four games in one? is that a good deal?

Anything after Empire really needs steam, Napoleon is right after Empire..

It is good deal if you want CDs, they are not so easy to get anymore...however on steam during sales you can get way better price.

And just to clarify, those older games like R1,Med1+2..they are not needing Steam after installation. You just use steam to buy and download the game..

yes that one. seems like a good price. does it have the vikings other expansions for rome? i see. so im geussing the gold editions an other editions i saw use steam? so sound slike this one for me is the best. awesome.

For medieval 2 at least, there is a check and the game will make you log in before launching.
