War is brewing in across the Mediterranean and Philippe of France looks to create a powerful kingdom for his son Louis. In this first episode of the Kingdom of France for Medieval Kingdoms 1212 A.D., Philippe consolidates his forces into one army under Mathieu in order to meet the County of Toulouse who has invaded France with two armies. The Invasion of Normandy is declared by England, with the support of the County of Flanders a large military force from England lands in Northern France. A great introduction to the France campaign in this impressive mod! In the first battle, it looks as if the enemy seemed to be trying to draw you away from the high ground - and that the enemy shock cavalry were a challenge.

Phillipe of France spearheads an invasion into Iberia to fight off the Almohad Caliphate in gain more territory. Crown Prince of France Louis, begins his military experience by amassing an army near Toulouse in order to assist his father in the campaigns to come. Meanwhile, the groundwork is laid to for the eventual invasion of England where Simon still holds London in defense of the French Crown.

Having taken Pamplona, Phillipe of France and Crown Prince Louis must defend the region against the Almohad Caliphate and other Iberian enemies. Deciding to split their forces, Phillipe besieges Leon while Louis heads south to Zaragoza. Louis is intercepted by two armies under the Kingdom of Castile and the Crown Prince barely escapes with his life. Have safely taken Leon, Portugal joins the fight and attempts to take Leon. Will Louis and Phillipe be able to hold back the onslaught of enemies bearing down on them? Enjoy!

Having secured a foothold in Iberia, Louis and King Philippe continue their expansion. After taking Santiago, Over 6,000 Portuguese troops and the remains of Castile assault the city leading to a massive siege battle during a violent thunderstorm. Rather than spearhead through Spain, The French continue along the coast taking settlement after settlement, first into Braga, leading to another Portuguese assault to retake the city, and then the capital at Lisbon. In the north, the armies of France amass for the coming invasion of the UK.

In this Medieval Kingdoms 1212 A.D. episode, the Kingdom of France continues on two fronts to expand its territory. A French army at Zaragoza puts up a tough defense against a Castilian counter-attack. Meanwhile, King Philippe continues to push south in an attempt to cut off Muslim forces from entering Iberia so his son Louis can begin taking eastern Iberia. Lord Philippe, makes a valiant defense of his position while besieging the city of Nottingham against massive waves of English troops. Meanwhile, outside of Muslim held Toledo, Prince Louis tracks down the leader of the Almohad Caliphate who is protected by many heavy troops. Enjoy this awesome episode!

In this long overdue episode of Medieval Kingdoms 1212 A.D. the Empire of France continues to move south into Iberia. In the North, a French army besieging Dublin is attacked by armies totaling 3,000 cavalry. Meanwhile, besieging French armies assault the Scottish held city of Edinburgh to solidify French rule over the Islands. In central Iberia, Robert is attacked and outnumbered by several thousands Muslims under the command of the Almohad Caliphate. Be sure to check out this action packed episode with tons of battles!
