I have to say I too love the pottery styled badges, very nice work and thanks for submitting them!

I like the pottery style too... Re; the text colour issue - Gaming Staff is going to be worse! Is it allowed to suggest a new colour for them to suit the badges? It'd probably help the submission and might help elsewhere as the current gaming colour is also 'difficult' on the default wiki and forum post area backgrounds.

@ paleologos - I like that a lot , except for the TWC text and circular thing to the left of it, I'm not really sure what the circular thing is meant to be (as you can probably tell from the description) and having the two different bits of text seems to me to make things a bit too crowded.

Yeah - the bit I meant is actually this bit

as it's quite bright it looks a bit like a separate thing...

and the TWC text is hiding what's going on behind it, so if you don't recognise that object and know what to expect, it looks like an orb that's partly hidden, instead of a bowl.
Taking out the TWC text, or moving it up, would probably sort out all the problems!

To pal's renditions, I agree with Morticia that the version without the pedestal looks better.

To Akar's rendition, I agree with Caillagh that the text bleeds into the background a bit too much on some (and will probably be very hard to see with the Gaming Staff orange). I'd suggest a thin outline of black or something to offset the text more.

But other than those things, I quite like both variants! And since you guys have done exactly what I would have done, I now don't have to create a submission!

ATM it's not really needed to post them individually, though it would be better if you do so

My submission is still a WiP but perhaps I could be indulged with all the work and stuff...

you still have 4 days to complete it, but in any case I'll probably extend the submission period up to the 6th of July, this mostly in order for people to give suggestions and propose modifications to the submission, and just in case someone is still willing to submit an entry but they are late
