Thread: Death of George Floyd and Subsequent Riots.

Default Re: Death of George Floyd and Subsequent Riots.

    Update:
There was an incredibly militant show of force by the traitors to the great utopia of Cuba, who have taken over black safe spaces, against BLM on Sunday:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Outside the prominent bright yellow building in NuLu, some held signs denouncing socialism. Others waved Cuban flags on the warm August afternoon.
Dozens from Louisville’s Cuban community gathered in NuLu on Sunday evening for a rally in support of an immigrant-owned restaurant that pushed back against demands for greater Black representation in NuLu.
The paper reported that about 100 members of the city’s Cuban community gathered in front of Martinez’s newest restaurants in the area known as NuLu.

The gentle and understanding BLM response to this vile and hostile action (which comes after BLM peacefully made reasonable requests for past due remuneration, in a letter which "classified the goals included on her list as "demands,"" which was necessary because "gentler language would have been ignored". It is thus completely understandable that the Cuban invaders requested to go along so their "business is not f----d with", and a flower pot be smashed for emphasis) by the Cubans, who consider themselves superior to black bodies:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
When reached by phone, Talesha Wilson, an antiracist activist who has organized BLM demonstrations in NuLu, called the counter-rally at La Bodeguita “childish” and “performative.” If Martinez felt threatened, Wilson said, he should have reached out to leaders of the NuLu demonstrations, who until recently considered him an ally.
Talesha Wilson, a community organizer who helped draft the list of demands, says she didn't pay much attention to the Sunday rally but characterized it as premature and a "temper tantrum that could have been solved by a conversation."
When asked why she letter classified the goals included on her list as "demands," Wilson said she believes gentler language would have been ignored.
In a widely-shared Facebook post, Louisville Urban League CEO Sadiqa Reynolds expressed dismay in Martinez’s stance. “I understand that the owner of La Bodeguita De Mimi [sic] has decided to proactively organize against the idea that Black Lives Matter. Rather than respond to demands tendered, even in the negative, and affirm that he is aware of the pain our people are in, instead he chooses to highlight what he believes is his superiority,” Reynolds wrote, saying she wouldn’t patronize Martinez’s restaurants.
Sadiqa Reynolds, the president of the Louisville Urban League, said she'll boycott the restaurant after the Sunday rally.
"Rather than respond to demands tendered, even in the negative, and affirm that he is aware of the pain our people are in, instead he chooses to highlight what he believes is his superiority," she wrote of the owner on Facebook.

At the deliberately provocative Cuban "rally", the traitors to the great utopia of Cuba showed their hatred for equality, admit they want to force black bodies to be jobless, that they are only concerned with themselves and they love systemic institutional racism all the while making violent threats:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
"On Sunday, Martinez explained his issue was not with Louisville’s Black community but with “socialism,” which he said he escaped in leaving Cuba for the U.S."
“We’re here to work. We’re dreamers. We’re people who love freedom and love this country,” Martinez said about Cuban-Americans. “This is not a race fight. This is an idea fight.”
Rally attendees carried several signs mostly denouncing socialism: “No 2 Socialism in America.” “Justice 4 All.” “We Are Peaceful People But Don’t Tread On Us.” The rally featured many white and Black Kentuckians as well as locals with heritage from Cuba and Venezuela. Although some individuals affiliated with the BLM protests were present, there was no organized counter-demonstration."

Some black bodies demonstrated that they have internalized whiteness, supporting the vile actions of these Cuban invaders:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
One of the speakers at Sunday’s rally was Ahamara Brewster, general of the Revolutionary Black Panther Party of Kentucky, who denounced the tactics of the BLM protesters as “terroristic.”
“That was another thing that was upsetting: You’re attacking a Black/brown establishment, but you’re in the name of Black Lives Matter,” Brewster said. “Something’s weird about this.”

The generalissimo of the Cubano Mob of Kentucky made obvious threats, stating how militantly powerful they are, and also supporting systemic and institutional racism against black bodies:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Berta Weyenberg, president of the Cuban American Association of Kentucky, estimated there are 250,000 Cubans in Kentucky. In an interview, she emphasized that Cuban Americans were committed to the values and ideals of their adopted country.
“We came here not because we wanted to come. We fell in love with your city and your country after being here because you welcomed us,” she said. “We are here to defend the freedom that you all gave us that we didn’t have."

The prime provocateur is a firm supporter of inequality, wants Louisville to unite against BLM and its reasonable and peaceful requests, does not believe black lives matter, and does not deny he is a racist and a bigot, while making veiled threats:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Martinez, a vocal online critic of communism, said the city needs unity, which is undermined by internet recriminations.
“With the internet nowadays, you’re easily and quickly discounted and disqualified. ‘Oh, you don’t agree with everything I believe? You’re a racist, you’re a bigot, and that’s that,’ ” he said. “There’s people out there trying to define me as a man and trying to define my business, and they don’t know who we are.”

Can a medical doctor here comment how elevated levels of meth and fenatnyl would inhibit someone's ability to breathe?

    https://www.drugabuse.gov/publicatio...facts/fentanyl

"Some drug dealers are mixing fentanyl with other drugs, such as heroin, cocaine, methamphetamine, and MDMA. This is because it takes very little to produce a high with fentanyl, making it a cheaper option. This is especially risky when people taking drugs don’t realize they might contain fentanyl as a cheap but dangerous additive."

    "Fentanyl's effects include
    extreme happiness
    drowsiness
    nausea
    confusion
    constipation
    sedation
    problems breathing
    unconsciousness"

"When people overdose on fentanyl, their breathing can slow or stop."

You know what makes it really hard to breathe? A knee in your neck for over 8 minutes.

Seems like we have visual confirmation of BLM protestors burning Bibles. Hardly a surprise to anyone familiar with the group, but I’d imagine it’s relevant enough to be covered by MSM. Anyone seeing this covered by mainstream outlets (probably Fox but seriously)?
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

Of these facts there cannot be any shadow of doubt: for instance, that civil society was renovated in every part by Christian institutions; that in the strength of that renewal the human race was lifted up to better things-nay, that it was brought back from death to life, and to so excellent a life that nothing more perfect had been known before, or will come to be known in the ages that have yet to be. - Pope Leo XIII

Newsweek and New York Post, otherwise mostly Christian themed as far as 'regular media goes, best I can tell (similarly with the attempted extortion by BLM of Louisville NuLu businesses).
Was it actually BLM protesters or was it the noble and valiant Antifa, who only engage in defensive actions against violent fascists such as reporters, soldiers on leave, wheel-chair bound old ladies and WWII veterans, Bernie supporters, random passers by etc. in a group from behind with weapons?

Now, following the abject retreat of the vile federal Sturmabteilung from its illegal occupation of the People's Courthouse, peace reigns in Portland:

Night 68: Police declare riot in NoPo, investigate gunfire
    2020 PROTESTS
Demonstrators barricaded streets, set fires near Portland Police Association building Tuesday night

"A riot was declared in the early hours of Wednesday after demonstrators gathered across Portland on Tuesday and later marched to the Portland Police Association building where some set fires and barricaded public roadways for the 68th night of protests against systemic racism and police.

As the protests spilled into Wednesday morning, several shots rang out near North Mobile Avenue and then again about 15 minutes later near North Lombard Street. No one was hurt, but a car was struck. When Portland police went to investigate, the crowd that met them was hostile and no one would speak to officers about the incident.

A short time later, a group of protesters breached the doors of the Portland Police Association building. While inside, some set a fire and caused other damage — prompting the police to declare a riot around 1 a.m."

I don't like this at all, just inflammatory nonsense. How does this help the discussion?

Here is a case study that proves that prolonged usage of methamphetamine can cause severe breathing problems leading to asphyxiation.

Why did Floyd complain of having difficulty breathing when he was sitting in the police car, before he was pinned to the ground after resisting arrest.

I suspect that Floyd having had covid 19 a month before, which likely leaves lasting respiratory impairments, as well as him having heart disease and sickle cell anemia contributed to his cardiac arrest.

So much for widespread over policing.

It is interesting how Asian Americans are the least approving of a police presence.

Probably because they are the least likely to commit cri... errrrr... That is the internalized whiteness of Asian Americans coming out.

(You are a mod, if you want feel free to go into that post and put the actual chart in there. I don't know how...)

He could have simply been having a panic attack. Better question is would George Floyd have still died if he wasn't pinned by his neck on the ground.

Are we back to blaming the victim for not being healthy enough to not be strangled for 8 minutes? Thought we got past that months ago.

It's unlikely that the cause of death was choking. Not even the Floyd family's independent autopsy report claims that. The county medical examiner's preliminary autopsy "revealed no physical findings that support a diagnosis of traumatic asphyxia or strangulation."

It seems pretty sickening and inhuman to blame a guy for choking to death while being knelt on, as if its his responsibility to be fit enough to survive assault. The video pretty clearly shows he was informing the officers he was in distress and it was ignored. The fact the guy may bhave had some illness does not excuse his strangulation.

    That's a bold faced lie.
