    Default How To: Usurper King

    I'm looking for a full breakdown of the Usurper mechanic but can't find it, can someone link it please // possible to remove entirely?

    Doesn't exist atm. Made by the Gods Of The Past, and they brought their wisdom along.

    How it should work is here, but parts of the framework are missing.

    Removing should be very easy - just disable the triggers for the trait Usurper in the EDCT, and there won't be usurpers anymore (the rest of the FL traits may go nuts but perhaps you don't bother about the traits?)

    Is it possible to get have your king legitimize his throne and lose the usurper trait/how?

    seems like my heir is bound to become a usurper upon succession as he has the "heir claimant" and i have a feeling this could be an endless cycle of kings who can't move around ><

    Game is stable so i would rather not change code around

    Frankly speaking, I didn't have time to delve into the system. VineFynn reviewed it last year, so it should work ok (or at least better than in the 092).

    What I see in the code is that after the the civil war ends the FL will not be Usurper anymore and any other claimants will lose 1 point in Usurper.

    I think that you can change in the last triger = 1 into > 0 and -1 into -5 to be sure that indeed every usurping will lose that trait. It won't impact on stability.
