- He's been involved in the infamous Mani Pulite case, where he admitted some minor guilt and later negotiated a plea bargain for house arrest
- He's been involved in the Simec case, and he was found guilty of fraud and corruption, sentenced 1 year and 9 months in jail and later for another 4 months, plus a fine of 49 million € that he paid without any problem (yes, 49 million, you do now realize how poor you are, right?)
- He's been sentenced to pay 4.5 million € in compensation and 150K € in legal fees for the S.E.G. case

There's a list of many other minor cases in which he has been involved but that he managed to get away from. Ah and of course he did not serve even one day in jail.

That being said, he's been married twice and has 1 son and 3 daughters, but after that he invested himself in the most ancient Italian business, whore-mongering.
