Will anyone continue Candelarius's Mod with RTR:PE 1.8?

Hi folks,

With 1.8 coming out will ANYONE try to update Candy's Mod to reflect the new RTR

E version?

I thought Candelarius said that he shall update his mod to 1.8 when it comes out, did he say otherwise somewhere else?

I didn't think we were making an RTRPE 1.8, to be honest. Has anyone from the old team said otherwise? As far as I know, the RTRPE project is done, since the RTR team are working on a new RTR version.

But my mod is definately complete.

EDIT: Nevermind, I guess they are making a new version. News to me. No, I do not intend to update my mod anyway. Anybody else is welcome to, though. I'm busy on new projects and have lost interest in the Extended Realism Mod.

With Candel's permission, I've taken up the task of updating his mod to RTR-PE 1.8. Anyone want to help? :hopeful:

RTR Platinum v1.8 has been released, and now also includes a version that uses the RTW mod switch feature. This will more than likely be the final product for RTR Platinum. I, Marcus Camillus, plan to continue supporting it, but no more fixes or updates seems to be needed. Its now up to anyone who wishes to base their mod on and create their own adaptation of it, to their preferences.

I still need to update the RTRPE post here at the TWCenter to reflect the latest release, but it can be found in the RTR Platinum sub-forum on the RTR Forums.

Canelarius' Extended Realism Mod was quite popular, and I applaud Quinn Inuit for taking on updating it to compatibilty with RTR Platinum v1.8.
