    Hi,

I would really like to utilize this mod however, I do not have the folder where the "Extract cloud_sprite3.texture into your data/models_effects/textures". Exactly how do I get this folder? Do I create it? Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

Do you mean the data/models_effects/textures ? If you're working from a mod folder, you can just create a folder called 'models_effects' and inside that create a new folder called 'textures'. Extract the files here. I hope this helps!

    Hi Hermes,

That folder is created when you 'Unpack' your .PAK files.

See, when you instal M2TW it compresses almost all the date required to run into a few dense files, called PAK files. This allows the game to run faster, and take up about 80% less space. Thus, you must UNpAK in order to fiddle with the contents.
Be warned though, it takes up 11+GB when unpaked!

    Goatbusters instructions are correct.
If you do not know how to setup mod folders etc, there are several threads in the Modding sections on this site that explain it.

    Enjoy,

Does anyone know if Musket/Arquebus Smoke works under 1.2?

I remember installing this for the earlier M2TW, and LOVED the effect. Now I've reinstalled M2TW for 1.2, reinstalled this patch, and no go when I try the Battle of Pavia as a test.

Has compatibility for this mod been checked for 1.2?

    Thanks!

    Istari

Yes.this mod is compatible with 1.2,you might just have to reinstall it,get it up to speed with the new version, but it certainly works,I use it with any and all mods i play that are not currently using it...it is simply amazing and adds a whole new atmosphere to the pike and shot battles.I have some great screens of it in action on 1.2...but I cant seem to figure out how to convert this bmp to jpg....either way,it definately works

Great mod, I started to use it and changes immensely the gunwarfare in M2. Plus some tweaked animations, but, that's another question
