It looks like taking out the dwarves of Ered Luin in the north would put you in a good position for a suitably epic campaign against Sauron's forces in the south. I wonder if you can see what Sauron is doing and whether you're sending anyone to find out.

In this episode, Northern Dunedain attacks in one turn 4 large Isengard armies. So this entire episode is really epic battles! Once they are dealt with the invasion into the south will begin! Enjoy!

Focusing on major battles and changes while summarising smaller events sounds good.

These battles are certainly epic! It looks like your artillery are useful but maybe you were suffering some friendly artillery fire in the first battle. The war against Isengard seems to be going well. I wonder if this might get difficult if you lose units, and if you're recruiting units in the north where they have a long march to reach the front line.

That's an exciting time in your campaign, when after holding the line on your southern border for a long time, you reach the point where your armies can push south. It looks like the advance south is going well, but (as you said) you need to watch out for enemies trying to get behind your front line on the campaign map. I see what you mean about the problems of friendly artillery fire and the enemy pikemen.

It's cool to see your armies reach Isengard. It looks like your spies have found large enemy forces at the Hornburg, I hope if we'll get to see it on the battlefield, and maybe Edoras too.
