Unable to Hide Troops in Woods

I am using the DarthMod for Napoleon. In about half my battles I am unable to hide any troops/artillery/cavalry in the woods. Is this a game glitch or are their game protocols that dictate when you can or cannot do so?

What nation are you playing?

If you're not playing France then it's likely that it is about the design of the game.

So, players who doesn't play France, but playing a battle against France would never be able to hide units in a forest when the French army has Napoleon as general.
