im getting a lot of ctd's lately, more so than in 6.1. i've heard around these forums that unableing the aoutosave helps.

can anyone plz tell me how to do this? thx.

it does help disabling autosave... go to "C:\Program Files\Activision\SPQR 6.2 - Total War\preferences" and edit "preferences.txt"

change AUTO_SAVE:FALSE and save the file... good game

PS- u should disable some video setting to reduce CTD's... try shadows off and medium /low settings... it should help

i like how the game looks too much to lower the graphic settings, hehe, but thanks for the autosave tip!
