As per the OP, anyone is free to post a new game, as Sar1n's turn has now gone on for two full weeks without a correct answer.

To Sar1n, I would strongly encourage you to post more hints in the future, and to be more responsive to the other players of the games here. We all have fun here, and like to try to tease out answers, but often something that is obvious to yourself is not obvious to others, and it is good to enter into the competition with an eye to keeping it fun for everyone.

Anyway, the turn is open to whomever would like to take it.

I gave you really an easy one, especially with the second picture. It was Master of Orion 2: Battle at Antares. Don't tell me you haven't heard of it....Akar certainly did since I remember him guessing that elsewhere.

And I disagree, Sept, Kilo, myself, and a few others I can't remember to mention regularly post hints, especially if no one has guessed recently. Personally, I try to post some sort of hint every day someone doesn't guess.

Well, there is a case to be made that it's been dead because no one had any idea, and you were not posting hints. This is not to point fingers or to call you out, just to point out a possibility, in the hopes that it maybe sparks some minor change of behavior.

I have heard of that (I feel like everyone must have heard of it), but I have never played it, and don't even actually know what kind of game it is at all (adventure, top down shooter? I don't know.) But whether or not it is an obvious one, you should try to be more responsive to other players. Often, when one of us posts something more notable, we try to use an odd screenshot, but when no one is guessing it, it is polite to use increasingly obvious screenshots, or to to give increasingly leading hints. Heck, I once posted Halo: Reach, which to my mind is one of the most hugely notable games of its time (I still know loads of guys who play it regularly online). I posted a super random pic and gave a day or two to see how people received it. When no one seemed on mark, I gave another pic, equally odd, but from the two together, someone was able to find the answer. That is the ideal scenario, that the players have to do some work, think a bit, but that the answer then comes out. Waiting for the clock to run out is fun for no one.

Again, Akar is right. Posting hints is definitely the norm, especially if there aren't guesses for a day or more. Lack of guesses is generally not due to no one having seen the prompt (unlike some other areas of the TWC, these threads are very alive). Rather, it is due to no one having a clue, and therefore not posting. Given that no one has a clue, a clue would seem to be in order.

But let's not get too off-topic here. Akar has posted a game, and someone should throw a guess out there. I, unfortunately, have no idea...

SIGH, no. The text in the image is a VERY strong hint, one of the words especially.

The game was made by a now defunct studio EA bought and shut down that's name is relevant to what has been happening in the world the past year or so
