At first I thought it was low poly Anno 1800, but afterwards I realized it's Victoria 2.

Well done! Your turn!
Hint: one of the most influential strategy games ever, with a remake that hit the stores last year.
I have tried researching this to no avail. The picture really rings a bell, but I cannot for the life of me put a finger on it. It is surprisingly hard even with the prominence you mention the game has.
The game was release in the mid 90s by a company that, one year before, had relased a somewhat similarly named space-themed game, equally influential as this one.
Is that Master of Magic?
Edit: Yeah, it's that. Just got around to watch the intro. That similarly named game would, of course, be Master of Orion.

Sorry for double post, people might not notice if I simply edited the first one. New riddle:

Fallout, yes, that much can see almost everyone. But not New Vegas.
Fallout 4?
Perhaps the Nuka World extension of the game?
This image really says nothing about the game. I cannot even deduce the genre. A revolving Earth is a very common theme.
Now it rings a bell! Is this Arma 3? I have recently played it and I thing something like this was in it.
