Funny that you should say so. My very first idea of the image was that "okay, this is a whole new genre of gaming to me". I really couldn't connect it with anything I have played.

I thought this would be too easy, so I picked a screenshot without full UI. Still...once you notice the player-controlled character in there, you will recognize at least the series. I'm sure you have played a game from the series....it was incredibly popular for its multiplayer, especially hotseat mode.

I mean, I think I can see the player character (in a reflection in the slime, directly between the rat and the shopping cart), but I have no idea about this. Maybe someone else can take a loot at that reflected character and have an epiphany, but I know I won't, unfortunately.
