    Default Fighting the AI

Here are some of my tips for fighting the AI in campaign or custom battles.
    AI Formations:
The AI likes to form up in the same basic formation in any non scripted battle(historical battles). They take a formation where they have typically two units of horse archers on the flanks, missile infantry in the front, then melee troops, than artillery, then cavalry. In a stack of 20, here is the basic AI formation:
    General
    Cavalry Cavalry Cavalry
    Artillery Artillery
Spearmen Spearmen Spearmen Spearmen Heavy Infantry Heavy Infantry
Missile Cav Missile Inf. Missile Inf. Missile Inf. Missile Inf. Quality Missile Quality Missile Missile Cav

When defending a town they tend to put most of their troops next to a gate, sometimes next to two gates, but they tend to be a little smarter, though not by much.
    AI Tactics:
In a field battle the AI will first send forward their missile troops and missile cavalry to attack you. After the missile infantry loose their first volley than the rest of them will start to advance at a walk. Unless you have your own missile cavalry the AI will typically attack your front line with all that they've got. Sometimes their cavalry will charge before the infantry, sometimes not. If you have missile cavalry they will send their own cavalry after them, which can get annoying.
    Fighting the AI:
Fighting the AI tends to be simple. Put out a front line of spearmen, Sergeant Spearmen or Armored Sergeants work quite well, with a couple of heavy infantry units behind and in the center. Put a line of missile infantry behind them and keep your artillery and cavalry behind. If you have missile cavalry set them to attack the enemy missile cavalry. When the enemy first engages your spearmen in melee move your cavalry out towards your flanks, avoiding getting entangled in a fight. The enemy heavy cavalry won't have moved towards your missile cavalry yet, though they will be moving out towards the flanks as best they can. The heavy infantry are your reserves. Use them when your spearmen are wavering to fill the hole.

Catch their heavy cavalry in melee if you can, either by pushing spearmen or using your reserves if they haven't been committed. Form up your heavy cavalry on the sides of the battle and charge them into the enemy on the sides. If the enemy starts to break than keep them in the fight and push forward your infantry. If the enemy holds than retreat, reform, and charge again, cycle charging until they break. At this point send your heavy cavalry to deal with the enemy missile cavalry, which has been using most of their ammo trying to kill your missile cavalry and are likely in Cantabrian Circle. This means that you can catch them more easily. Let your missile cavalry finish of their ammo and then have them chase down the routing enemy so that they can inflict more kills and keep the enemy routing. Finish the enemy off.

Could someone update this for playing the Americas campaign? Specifically playing one of the Native American tribes? I am winning my fair share of battles, but doing that basically with the sheer number of troops I'm sending in. Thanks. Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this. If so, please advise.
