CONQUERING GAUL | Caesar in Gaul- Divide et Impera

No better way to spend your Sunday than watching Caesar invade Gaul. Good morning everyone! This TSJ Plays is on the Caesar in Gaul as Rome for Total War: Rome II. I am using the DEI mod to enhance the gameplay as well! In this first episode, Caesar moves to bolster his southern border by taking Octoduron. In the east, Tulingi declares war and amasses a large army to attack Caesar's position. In the western most province, Narbo Martius is attacked by two Volcae tribes leading to a bloody battle in defense of the settlement. A great introduction to the DeI Caesar in Gaul campaign - and a brutal battle, I was worried that you were going to lose your general when the enemy cavalry charged in! It looks like players need to be careful about the cost in both coins and manpower of new units.

Good morning supers! In this episode of Caesar in Gaul, the Roman armies in the west counter-invade the Volcae at the capital of Tolosa leading to a massive battle outside the settlement. In the north, Caesar prepares his forces for further conquest into central Gaul. However, he is attacked while encamped by the Ausci. Can Caesar hold out and continue his conquest north? Watch this episode for some epic barbarian vs. Roman combat! Enjoy!

Rome takes a pretty big hit in this episode by the barbarians. But Caesar will push on!

You mentioned an accident, I hope you're feeling a lot better now. As you said, this looks like a fun and challenging campaign. In the first part of the first battle, you seemed to be holding back a lot of your infantry during the initial skirmishing - I wonder of the DeI mechanics encourage that, maybe you wanted to keep them fresh.
