Thank you so much, i've looking for a submod like this for EBll.
RTW has some of the best music in all the franchise and while I like what the EB team has put in the mod, it gets a bit boring at times.
Thanks for updating this, by the way, since my Rome I music submod is already slightly out of date with the latest version of EBII. Cheers.
Hey, did you include music from the Alexander Movie soundtrack? I got a copyright claim from sony....just checking cause I know Romes music is clean.
LOL. What? How would "Sony" know which songs are included in your own modded version of EBII, exactly? In either case I replied to your private message with instructions on how to remove that particular track from the soundtrack. Also, just letting you know that you wouldn't have this problem had you downloaded my Rome + M2TW music mod for EBII.
Thanks man. I thought it was your mod. In your other post you sent me a link here. I am doing a play through on youtube. That is how Sony knows.
Cool, cool, you're welcome, glad that everything is getting sorted out for you. Best of luck with your "let's play" Youtube walk through.
Thanks man...I will give you a and link your mod!
Keep in mind it is somewhat outdated in terms of the audio, being for v. 2.3 instead of v. 2.35, so some of the newer unit voices won't work. However, my Audiomachine music submod (which you can find here) is designed specifically for v. 2.35, if you're interested.
Hey wondering can anybody help me at all. I've never played vanilla really always used mods so I'm usually pretty competent at installing all the great mods you guys make but for the life of me I can't get this to work at all.
I've downloaded the file and used my default 'Breezip' to extract the file into my MT2TW>mods>ebii folder. It never asks me to overwrite anything and I've manually looked into each file and then tried to copy them directly over but I still have default EB2 music playing? I don't understand why it won't overwrite the files.
Not sure why you're having these problems.
If you don't mind, as a test, you should probably try a couple of my music submods. You might even like them enough to keep them!
Here's an up to date submod that I released for 2.35 about two years ago now, includes all the music from Rome II: Total War:
Rome II Total War Soundtrack Submod!!!
Here's a largely outdated one for version 2.3 that I released three years ago now, includes music from the first Rome: Total War and Medieval II Total War:
RTW and M2TW soundtrack submod for EB II v. 2.3
Please follow the instructions precisely and if you do that there should be no problems at all. Let me know if things work out for you.
Hello again, so I downloaded a different software to extract the files and it worked no problem. Thanks a million it works great! As realistic as EB2 music might be to the time, you just can't beat the more dramatic music and the feeling it adds to the game!
