Default How to decrease Control in politics

Yes, I'm struggling with this really poor politics system, I seem to always have too much control, is there any easy steps "simple" to reduce control and increase my dominion (none conviluted please) just simple answers. Thanks.

Thata odd, every political move decreases control until you have none, with NO political moves that increase it, with the only exception of gaining support? dominion is the opposite though, every gravitas point in your family adds to dominion with it typically being in your favour!

@poacher886 yes my families influence is too low even with winning battles so my dominion is low by my control is high, (like the red bar is all the way to the left) so I just want to know the most expedient way to lower my overall control so the yellow and red are somewhere in the middle? Any "inner" political action costs influence, that the problem... I have too little... which means im struggleing a little.
