Post your favourite potatoes below and convince us why they're the best type of potato and how they should be served.

For example:

Sweet potatoes with marinated chicken

Spoiler Alert, click show to read: 

400 g chicken breast fillet (s)
1 chili pepper
2 cloves of garlic)
20 g of ginger
450 g sweet potato (s)
1 bell pepper (s), red
1 bell pepper (s), yellow
200 g sugar snap peas
6 tbsp soy sauce
40 g cranberries, dried
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp sesame

preparation

Working time about 20 minutes

Rest time about 2 hours

Cooking / baking time approx. 20 minutes

Total time about 2 hours 40 minutes

For the marinade, core the chilli and peel garlic and ginger. Chop everything and mix with the soy sauce. Cut the meat into strips, add to the marinade and marinate for at least 2 hours.

Peel the sweet potatoes and cut them into strips. Clean the peppers and cut them into fine strips. Wash the sugar snap peas and cut them in half at an angle.

Heat the sesame oil in a wok or a large pan. Take the chicken fillet out of the marinade and drain. The marinade is still needed.

Fry the chicken fillet in the hot oil for about 5 minutes, then add the sweet potatoes and fry everything for another 5 minutes. Add sugar snap peas and peppers and fry again for 5 minutes. Deglaze with marinade. Add the cranberries and cook for a few more minutes.

Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve with rice as desired.

I would cut them in quarters and cook them in a wok or pan in indian or asian sytle.

Or better let the OH cook it except he would burn down the house.^^
