Default Massive fps drop when Unit Flags enabled

Anyone else experiencing this? In a battle when the unit flags are switched off, you can get a 20 fps boost. However, playing with the unit flags off makes the game a lot harder as you have no idea which unit to be used against which. Anyone found a solution around this?

Just FPS drop to like 20ish. Don't know what you mean by unit stuttering.

I think the UI itself plays a role in this. I can turn off flags and then the UI and I get a massive increase in FPS. To the point that 20v20 battles are minimally affected and relatively smooth. Actually playable! It's a strange correlation. Try it without the UI during a battle and see if that made a difference.

This made a massive difference to me. I've basically doubled my FPS in larger battles by disabling them. It took a bit of getting used to not having them but now I find it more immersive and prefer not having them. I hide as much of the UI also occasionally using the map and Unit cards and that makes a difference too.
