At 28 kg, he's whole pack

Half Belgian Malinois, that's for sure. No idea about the other half.

I would love a Belgian Malinois. Even if it doesn't get along with Lily I trust it will serve as a worthy rival for her to battle with.

Oh, he is. He was neglected his first year of life before ending up in shelter, so he does not see humans as authority that much. One of things he did shortly after we took him home was to creep up behind someone and pinch them with his teeth, apparently just for fun. He grew out of it after a while as he settled down. He also sometimes provokes other dogs to chase him by stealing their toys if they don't want to play with him.

Be warned, they're not couch potatoes. Leon has most of his temperament from that side, and requires over 2 hours of walks and 1-2 hour of intensive activity daily. Plus a side order of petting and scratching.

I wish I could have a cat, but I believe they should be able to roam around outside and I live on the top floor with not even a balcony

If you always have two cats, they don't miss the outside, if they aren't used to it from childhood. My 2 don't miss it and as Room cats they do no harm to birds and little mamals.
