Went to the Ostkantone in Belgium this weekend for a lovely autumn stroll. Was very much worth it.

do you people have camping there, or is just a daily visit?
lovely place anyways, perfect for being chased and chewed by a big ugly bear

Seems to be a good harvest this year.

quantity wise was great, also the grapes were very wealthy (remember I do make a bio production).. quality wise, I mean in terms of final alcoholic grade, is yet too early to be seen, since the 2 weeks of full rain before the harvest, while certainly adding for the quantity, also impacted the quantity of sugar in the grapes.. taste wise: I have only tasted the red one so far, and it's on a 8/10 on my taste ladder, if you wonder

There are campings in the neighbourhood or hostels where one could stay the night, at least in the before-times, though this was a daytrip for me. (a two hour ride from where I live) Thankfully we don't have bears in Belgium. What we do have are some nasty boars, also something to look out for. We don't want to end up like Bobby B now do we.8/10 wine sounds mighty fine to me. Next stop: Italy!Originally Posted by Robert "Bobby" Baratheon
Thanks. Autumn has the most wonderful of colours in comparison to any other season. Though I have to admit the fresh green and blossoming flowers of spring are a close second.

That's a pretty good average I would say.
The bad years remind us of the good times, it reminds us of the best times and makes our appreciation grow for those.

I read some of the recent messages by Flinn and now I have to run to the store to get some wine. And possibly peaches, if they have any. Nothing much to photograph on the way, given that this part of the world is entering into what feels like perpetual darkness and a giant sensory deprivation tank. Luckily, our brethren in Italy supply us with wine to make it tolerable.
I'm more of a beer man myself, though I can appreciate a good wine once in a while. Kippis!
it looks like a portrait, but it's a 100% legit pic, taken this morning before going to work
no edits, no filter, just the amazing nature

It really looks like the stuff of dreams.
the fact that there's a natural reserve there means a lot, honestly
best period is summer, between the woods and the farmed fields, it looks like the Shire (a bit eh )

Do they farm a particular pipeweed there? Just asking for me and my wizard friend. We need a new place to hang out.
