Assigning Traits to General's Wife

If you assign a trait to your general's wife that gives her +4 more armor or 8% more movement range, does that apply to the general and his army too?

Nope. I believe only items that have faction-wide effects will do anything when assigned to someone's wife.

Performing Necromancy here. Just hoping to get confirmation if assigning traits to a wife does anything?

it does if the effect is faction wise
otherwise, if she's not a deployed general it won't do anything anyway
if you assign any kind of correct effect to te wife ancillary then it will work too

Gotcha. So throwing "4 Armor on all units" on a Roman General's wife would do nothing, but if the trait says "-1 empire maintenance" would work.

every working effect which has a faction scope
maybe a "in all your armies" scope will work
surely not a "this army" scope
