    Default How to Disable City/Castle Conversion

    The title kinda says it all, but I'll elaborate:

    I've looked around and cannot seem to find a tutorial how to make it so the convert to city/castle option doesn't appear in the building section! - Like it doesn't appear in mods like Third Age and Elder Scrolls TW! If no tutorial exists, how is such a thing done as I'm very new to the EDB section of modding!

    In TATW they did this in export_descr_buildings.txt...

    Code:
    building convert_to_castle
    {
        convert_to convert_to_city
        levels village_to_wooden_castle small_town_to_stone_keep large_town_to_castle 
        {
            village_to_wooden_castle city requires factions {  }
    That is, removed the factions/cultures from within those { } brackets. That way no faction can build this conversion building, the thing that makes conversion happen.

    Note that there's a space character between those brackets. { } not {}.

    And that needs to be done to all of these buildings, castle ones too. 8 of them altogether.

    Simply removing\commenting the conversion lines in the two core building trees should work as well (or does it still give the option to convert but without effect?):
    Code:
    building core_building
    {
        convert_to core_castle_building
        levels wooden_pallisade wooden_wall stone_wall large_stone_wall huge_stone_wall
    
        ..../.....
    
            wooden_wall city requires factions { northern_european, mesoamerican, middle_eastern, eastern_european, greek, southern_european, } 
            {
                convert_to 2
                capability

    I can let y'all know that the first option worked! - I did face a lil confusion as I didn't know the actual conversion 'building' was near the bottom of the text document and not linked to the core building at the top of the document; for anybody who comes here looking for the same thing!
