NTW3 v9.3 mod download & technical issues

Hi,
Im new here and setting this up for my son, however when installing I get an error "An error occurred while trying to read the source file: The source file is corrupted", and this is on the ....\Packs\Pennincular\txt.pack file

I have never had this error my self but if the file is corrupted try to re-download it. I've had corrupted files before and most of the time re-downloading the mod fixes it.

Go into the OPTIONS on the main menu; select GRAPHIC SETTINGS and lower the PARTICLE EFFECTS to reduce or remove the tracers.

Is an option but unfortunately I lose the awesome effects of smoke from the guns and muskets. There is no other choice ?

What does the number represent just below "free camara" on the launch pad?

I figured it out. For me, it lists 3 numbers. The 3rd number is 2560..+. Selecting this number increases the video memory. Please Correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm experiencing a CTD after the 13th turn. The game was running smoothly until then.

Was anyone having the same problem and know how to fix it?

I'm using the 8.7 version.

I followed the installation as seen on the youtube video, installed twice, I get the same results. just installed this and started a Peninsular campaign missing text. Not sure what else I can do to fix this.

I'm experiencing a CTD after the 13th turn. The game was running smoothly until then.

Try loading a turn or two prior to the CTD (if you have the save_game files), and make some different moves. Sometimes the AI gets hung up and a different scenario will bypass the CTD. The original ntw vanilla game was developed & released when the 32-bit OS was predominant. Since then the 64-bit OS has become the standard OS and it processes data differently which sometimes causes problems for the campaign games AI. https://fossbytes.com/32-bit-vs-64-b...on-difference/

Ah, so is that why there are many factions missing from the "Coalition campaign" secondly, there is no text in any of the UI, building information etc etc... are you saying i should try what you said to see if that resolves it? also i did copy and paste the patch into the right folder. Ah... justy noticed that your post was directed at a post previous to this one...

From the pics you posted it looks you are trying to load the Peninsula campaign from the Classic Battles mod. Each selection as shown below loads a different set of files.
Use the box highlighted in yellow to run the Peninsula campaign.

Hello, I don't seem to have any of those options? as you can see by this next image. So have I missed something here?

I'll check with Lord Desaix but I'm sure that the battle map would need to be edited to increase the umber of men in a building.

Hi!

I've had several CTD's when auto-resolving sieges and when going back to the campaign map after battles. I am playing as the British, it's Oct. 1809, and I have only Primergy's grass mod added on. Any idea what might be going on? Thanks so much!
