Thread: Fatimid Revolt?

    Default Fatimid Revolt?

I'm in 6410 AD which I believe is 910 A.D, but the Fatimids haven't revolted yet? I'm playing as East Francia, skipping turns until I become the HRE. Or maybe I have the timescale messed up and its not 910 AD yet?

right, should be 148 turns and they should fight a big war (they win after all)
    148 / 4 = 37 years ; 872 + 37 = 909

i will take a look. can you send me savegames from 905 or 909?

There are lots of cool mods that never see the light of day because people don't realize that mods need workers, not watchers, or realize it but continue to watch anyway.

Oh, I'm on Turn 123, I just got the timescale wrong. I really wish there was just the standard Gregorian calendar used in the mod.

I was not paying attention to the date, but the Fatimids have definitely revolted. As did the Magyars migrate and Oleg arrive outside Konstantinoupolis.

    very nice
fatimids are fairly midgame and are scripted to defeat the tulunids over some years. later the kalbids in sicily will arrive too.
with olegs treaties, ERE get access to varangian units and the kievan rus convert to orthodox christianity.
if you have a savegame? i´m interested to see how they evolved and the game handled some details

Its good to see that the game in this early version works despite the numerus problems. This post is mostly a test for my keaboard that letters A and G did not work. In orded to continue the unit descrpition texts i had to dismadle it and put it together again. A letter still gives me some problems but i hope i wont need new keaboard in quarantine times!

Oh, it's all very exciting Must say I am loving it. I will post the save game for around 925 AD - 930 is looking very interesting. Look forward to appointment of Hasan al-Kalib in Sicily then that should cause further issues. I am gathering forces to retake Sicilly in the future. My only concern is diplomacy. Just stubborn alliances Bulgaria should be busy bashing heads in Ragusa not being best friends with Serb Zupans

    Thanks again TGC team fantastic
