Above-mentioned shows that WHO was aware from Taiwan about the extent of the outbreak... only to lie about no human-to-human transmission in January, which was beyond simple incompetence and de-facto sabotage of international response on behalf of China's communist government trying to cover up its blunder. As the saying goes: China lied, WHO complied and people died.
Indeed, one can hate Trump's policies, I do myself dislike some of them, but opposing defunding of WHO is nothing but raging TDS at this point.
According to... what? Only rational way to make a comparison is case/capita, and in that regard US isn't doing that bad, at least if compared to many other Western nations. I mean there are reasons to criticize Trump's response as well, but compared to Trudeau or Macron(who refused to close borders or quarantine people who arrived because that would be racist), he actually knew what he was doing.
