Sorry Saul, but you are wrong. I had windows 10 and i could play through the disks.

I only said afaik laddie, but I seem to remember discussions on TWC a couple of years ago about newer versions of RTW released around 2007 that had Safedisk/Securom(the copy protection of the exe's) removed, so I would suggest you may possibly have been lucky enough to buy one of those versions. I also remember a couple of guys posting fixes for this problem that did not work for many, I think their names were Skizzy and Hawkdreams also iirc Flinn & Gigantus provided a lot of info on this subject, so I would say I'm not completely wrong as you abruptly state.

Hi, guys! Great job! I am playing as Rome, but how can I recruit Hastati? In Rome, I could recruit Principe, but also what are the requirements to recruit Triari?

Extended Cultures V ver 1.0.1 is here with these features
    - Units' sound update
    - All new sprites to improve battlefield performance
    - Reduce charge distance for horse archers
    - Periokoi Hoplites now have more simplified equipment as self-equipped units
    - fixed crash when you enter a battle with Immigrants units (you shouldn't be using them in actual battle anyway as they are only available for player and their purpose is for migrating population to a different region)
    - Suppanut's fixes to cavalry spears stats which should make cavalry AI more logical
    - fixed corrupted textures for Gaesatae, Spartans and Persian Axemen. They became corrupted during the process of compiling the installer. Thanks menandros1976, Rtw1f4n and Ariaces for reporting!
    - Fix installer, now it no longer loop back to component page after finish install

Just one question Suppanut, do you recommend like you did for version 1.0 using ALX (more stable) or BI (more features?).
    Thank you very much,

Not sure, about Alex (I have not touch alex-only issue again after I fixed alex-only problem about wrong reference content from BI) but stability of BI has been improved since then and I expect ALEX to be the same.

Thank you Suppanut. I’ll try the more complete BI version then.
One last question for install: to which folder should I point the installer to?
