Default How do you get the Imperator trait as a Roman general?

I've checked the character traits file but have been unable to successfully interpret what the requirements are to get the Imperator trait as a Roman general... Do any of you know how to get this trait? And does it conflict somehow if the general already got a triumph?

Use one general to get a string of heroic victories against one faction. That's your best bet.

This is not the way, Roma. One is supposed to carve a bloody path for the progress of the Republic.

The whetstone of Roman greatness is the repeated punching of Carthage in the face!
