    If you are not subscribed to steam, you download mod manager 2.0 and your problem will be solved.....you install it with the launcher and you activate the mod 1212 medieval

    Yes the new launcher seems to work. I did wipe + fresh install and then only have MKTW subscribed in Steam.

    For folks who are having trouble launching the mod: what worked for me was uninstall including all mods, a fresh game install, subscribing again to MKTW collection per instructions below:

    Step 1
    In your Steam client find "Medieval Kingdoms Total War 1212" collection. Make sure you subscribed to all but music mod and "All settlement walled" mod (8 in total) - the last two are optional but I did enable the music.

    Step 2
    Start the game which will open Total War game launcher first. Do not click "Play". Click on "Mod Manager" instead.

    Step 3
    Make sure to enable sliding buttons for each of the 8 MKTW files. If properly enabled you will see Active and Status columns in green.

    Step 5
    Press Play and then Play again

    Step 6
    You should see MKTW background now and you can start a new Grand Campaign by pressing top left menu button.

    I will check this nice mod in the future. I was just concerned that by the time I do, it won't be available! Thankfully I see it is solved.

    I can load a custom battle and I see the new factiosn and units, but I cannot see descriptions and names. (I also think of a problem of language compatibility because a have the game installed in spanish)

    Any help or idea how to try to make the mod work?

    Hmm, so I noticed assassins can't really train armies anymore. Is that a bug or a feature?

    Hello already congratulations for this mod is your hard work for 5 years thank you.
    Since the time you wait for your work to be superb, however 1 questions I have a concern I have the names of the ancient cities of the games.

    I think assassins make their living on something different than training armies...
    I think the actions concerning training armies will be scrapped in the future. For now, I'm just disregarding them.

    It seems that they have not completed the task yet.
    I cannot hire any navy general or fleet, and the priest doesn't always work.
    If you destroy the Papal States, you cannot even reduce or avoid the effects of low public order punishing. It makes the game a bit difficult.

    The title of this very thread here reads "Alpha released". An alpha is an unfinished, premature version. From that fact you can guess that many aspects of the planned game have not yet been implemented, e.g. mercenaries or navies.


    Another question though: is there a channel for feedback to report recurrent bugs or things like that?

    Hello . I can't lunch the game, I am stucked at Attila page. I have tried the mod manager and the user.script txt. file with a fresh install but neither of them worked. Someone can help me ?

    Absolutely fantastic work to all those involved. I think i speak for most that, this is one of the most anticipated mods to come out for any game in recent history, fantastic and well done too all involved in the creation of this piece of art.
