    Default Angel Has Fallen

The first two films were kinda cheesy but good fun, enjoyed them but didn't think too much of them, while this movie is just...wow. It looks and feels far more serious even with its moments of comic relief, especially with Nick Nolte (the dad of Gerard Butler in the film). When you can get Nick Nolte to perform a believable transformation in a role within a single film, that means you did something right, because like his Santa Claus beard and hair, he's hard to tame or translate well to most audiences.

Morgon Freeman should also be cryogenically frozen so that he can perform such roles as president in the future. Danny Huston, the villain of the film, is a seriously criminally underrated actor in Hollywood. The guy deserves a lot more attention and chance to shine than he's gotten. Clash of the Titans wasn't the best use of his talents.

The movie is also legit terrifying in some parts, especially the drone attack scene. I will say no more and let the trailer speak for itself, since the trailer spoils that part anyway. The whole movie definitely has The Fugitive vibe to it, with Jada Pinkett Smith as the stand in FBI character for a Tommy Lee Jones type law enforcement figure. The whole scene with the president going into a coma and the top levels of government being compromised echo lots of other political thriller films, perhaps even the Bourne trilogy.

looking forward to the saga continuing with "Roma Has Fallen". (Not you, the city). (Well...).
So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth. (Revelation 3:16).

I've been a huge fan of Gerard Butler right since his initial movie Attila the Hun which was one of favourite movies as a teenager.
Always enjoyed this set of series. Nothing mind blowing but a simplistic fast paced action movie which is sometimes all you need to kill time.
