    I posted here, because Aureliae had mentioned it here...it was more intended for him than KAM. And KAM can choose whether or not he responds to anything in here, so it's really not an issue either way. It's entirely his prerogative. It doesn't seem at all unreasonable to me. As though I had insulted his mother or family's honor or something and shamed him into committing Seppuku...

    Jake is right tho, there are quite a lot of submods and since my baby was born I am running on a tight schedule. At the moment I have no idea what tables are included in these submods so only good place to ask is to first check there.

    So in Siege defences the Enemy often sends troops out the gate now. From what I've seen this pretty much always ends badly for them and whatever gets sent out is easily massacred especially as it's often archers which are as a result not on the walls to shoot my incoming troops. They also seem to hold units right behind the gate now also which makes it very difficult to attack it as the gate stays open but obviously my forces can't go through it. As its open the battering ram wont ram it and fire barely hits it.

    Is it possible to create a Scipio's Realism compatibility patch?
    It's costs/upkeeps only, other tables are not duplicated if I'm not mistaken
    I did make it for myself and really want to have it in Steam for h2h campaigns but I can't upload mods in Steam
    And it may be useful to some players, not just me)

    All pikes that are not elite are 2 speed since they lack good cohesion. Also not sure why there is Sarmatian pike units, I will check it and delete it from the game.

    Can you look into AOR_29_phrygian_axemen too?

    And AOR_14_Numidian_Javelinmen are classed as inf_melee so they cannot do skirmish mode.

    battle pack must be always read before everything else.
    it is not fully compatible with realism though, many unit prices/upkeeps won't be balanced

    Hey Kam, any chance this mod would work with the alternative hoplite submod? I want to try the changes, but the hoplite submod is so essential for DeI that I cannot give it up. Would both work?

    Hello there,
    I didn't even know an alternative hoplite phalanx/shieldwall mod existed, and tested it out a bit today. Although I like the normal version better, I have to say one thing about it I really liked, which was that there is no switching between spears and swords mid combat anymore. Any chance this perhaps could be made part of the new battle overhaul? Maybe make it so swords are only ever used when a unit is out of phalanx/shieldwall?

    Sadly no, due to changing nature of Experimental pack (though not updated in a long time but we will have new stuff soon), it would not be time efficient to get additional version and balance it for exp pack. Once this is added to main mod, I will get alternative pikes and hoplites updated ASAP.

    I know that is defo doable but I think I lack skills to make it. It would require new animation set to be created. Once I I get experimental pack out, I will see what I can do.
