Prodromos,
We write on these threads about the Gospel every opportunity despite the opposition yet that doesn't bother us, especially knowing that we're not going to win any prizes for doing so. My guess is that a lot of people out there are learning for the first time explanations of the word of God as is written through our posts.
I hope so.

Prodromos,
Long before I was born again and still a kid, my mother taught me to pray, " This night as I lie down to sleep, I pray the Lord my soul to keep and if I shall die before I wake, my soul to heaven Lord Jesus take." I believed even then there was a God yet I didn't know Jesus as perhaps I should have. My awareness of Him registered at Christmas and Easter for selfish reasons and so it wouldn't be until I was forty that He was revealed to me leading that year to my rebirth. In fact it wasn't until a few days later that I learned He is God, the Second Person of the Triune Godhead. Around that time I was having dreams and visions which on later investigation were verified the deeper into my Bible I got. So experience is so important but not as important as the Gospel for it is the key and the only key to knowing God and Him knowing us as sons and daughters.

Yes, it's amazing how so many people can grow up in ostensibly Christian societies and yet go their whole lives without ever hearing the Gospel.

Prodromos,
You know when I think about it now I probably had heard the Gospel just that it didn't penetrate my heart then. I mean I went with my mother to the Billy Graham events in Glasgow and went to a little Baptist Church's Sunday school till I could dodge it and yet it took forty years before my eyes and heart were opened. When God acts His timing is just perfect.
Yeah, it's interesting how two people can hear the same Gospel message, one accepts it and the other rejects it, even though neither of them is wiser or more moral than the other. Every conversion really is a miracle.

That's determination for you! He really loved God.
Job 34
10 “So listen to me, you men of understanding.
Far be it from God to do evil,
from the Almighty to do wrong.
11 He repays everyone for what they have done;
he brings on them what their conduct deserves.
12 It is unthinkable that God would do wrong,
that the Almighty would pervert justice.
13 Who appointed him over the earth?
Who put him in charge of the whole world?
14 If it were his intention
and he withdrew his spirit and breath,
15 all humanity would perish together
and mankind would return to the dust.
16 “If you have understanding, hear this;
listen to what I say.
17 Can someone who hates justice govern?
Will you condemn the just and mighty One?
18 Is he not the One who says to kings, ‘You are worthless,’
and to nobles, ‘You are wicked,’
19 who shows no partiality to princes
and does not favor the rich over the poor,
for they are all the work of his hands?
20 They die in an instant, in the middle of the night;
the people are shaken and they pass away;
the mighty are removed without human hand.
21 “His eyes are on the ways of mortals;
he sees their every step.
22 There is no deep shadow, no utter darkness,
where evildoers can hide.
23 God has no need to examine people further,
that they should come before him for judgment.
24 Without inquiry he shatters the mighty
and sets up others in their place.
25 Because he takes note of their deeds,
he overthrows them in the night and they are crushed.
26 He punishes them for their wickedness
where everyone can see them,
27 because they turned from following him
and had no regard for any of his ways.
28 They caused the cry of the poor to come before him,
so that he heard the cry of the needy.
29 But if he remains silent, who can condemn him?
If he hides his face, who can see him?
Yet he is over individual and nation alike,
30 to keep the godless from ruling,
from laying snares for the people.

On this day 481 years ago, the so-called Society of Jesus (also known as the Jesuits) was formed. Enemies to both man and God, they are a worthy adversary.

Practically prophetic. And hardly the half of it. Adams and Jefferson, for their part, understood a threat we’ve long forgotten. In another letter to Jefferson:"I do not like the reappearance of the Jesuits. They have a general now in Russia, in correspondence with the Jesuits in the U.S. who are more numerous than every body knows. Shall we not have regular swarms of them here, in as many disguises as only a king of the gipsies can assume, dressed as printers, publishers, writers and schoolmasters? If ever there was a body of men who merited damnation on earth and in Hell, it is this society of Loyola’s. Nevertheless, our system of religious liberty must offer them an asylum; but if they do not put the purity of our elections to a severe trial, it will be a wonder."

Jesus Never Said ANYTHING About Felony Home Invasion - The Babylon Bee
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Jesus taught that Scripture cannot be broken and frequently quoted Scripture to end debates. For Jesus, what Scripture says is what God says, and the Scriptures are crystal clear that same-sex sexual activity is sinful. There's no reason to think Jesus thought otherwise; on the contrary, Jesus explicitly affirmed the creation account of marriage as the union of a man and a woman and repeatedly condemned the sin of sexual immorality (porneia), which is a broad term encompassing all sexual activity outside of marriage, including homosexuality. There isn't a shred of evidence that Jesus viewed homosexuality as morally acceptable; in fact, all the evidence screams otherwise.
It also seems inconsistent to berate Christians for 'obsessing' over sexuality, when most sexually immoral people today will tell you that their sexuality is a central aspect of their identity and condemning it in any way should be grounds for social ostracism or criminal prosecution. If sexuality is important, then so is sexual ethics.
What Does the Bible Really Teach About Homosexuality? - Kevin DeYoung
What if Everyone Lived the Sexual Ethic of Jesus? - Sean McDowell“It cannot be overstated how seriously the Bible treats the sin of sexual immorality. Sexual sin is never considered adiaphora, a matter of indifference, an agree-to-disagree issue like food laws or holy days (Rom. 14:1–15:7). To the contrary, sexual immorality is precisely the sort of sin that characterizes those who will not enter the kingdom of heaven. There are at least eight vice lists in the New Testament (Mark 7:21–22; Rom. 1:24–31; 13:13; 1 Cor. 6:9–10; Gal. 5:19–21; Col. 3:5–9; 1 Tim. 1:9–10; Rev. 21:8), and sexual immorality is included in *every* one of these. In fact, in seven of the eight lists, there are multiple references to sexual immorality (e.g., impurity, sensuality, orgies, men who practice homosexuality), and in most of the passages some kind of sexual immorality heads the lists. You would be hard-pressed to find a sin more frequently, more uniformly, and more seriously condemned in the New Testament than sexual sin.”
“There would be no sexually transmitted diseases. No abortions. No brokenness from divorce. Every child would have a mother and a father and experience the love and acceptance each parent uniquely offers. There would be no rape, no sex abuse, no sex trafficking, pornography, and no need for a #MeToo campaign. Think of the healing and wholeness if people simply lived Jesus’ life-giving words regarding human sexuality.”

The lust of the flesh probably being the most powerful aspect of sin.
That's what ultimately lies behind all unbelief, isn't it? Man's unwillingness to renounce his pride, his lust and his hate.

Jeremiah 9
23 This is what the Lord says:
“Let not the wise boast of their wisdom or the strong boast of their strength or the rich boast of their riches, 24 but let the one who boasts boast about this: that they have the understanding to know me, that I am the Lord, who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth, for in these I delight,” declares the Lord.

Prodromos,
As long as we remain in a body of corruption I guess we'll never fully know the depth of these but, one day we will.
