    The TESTW Starter




    IntroductionThe installation for The Elder Scrolls Total War (TESTW) is done via extracting a RAR file. This does not provide desktop shortcuts which this installer rectifies.



    InformationThe following is provided by the installer:

    1. A steam compatible shortcut for the standard start of the mod
    2. A non steam compatible shortcut for the mod's launcher - the launcher will work fine to change settings but will not start the mod for Steam users unless they have performed a copy\rename of the executable.

    DownloadA download is provided here at TWCenter
    InstallationThis is a simple click through affair as the installer should find the mod's installation path automatically. If for some reason it doesn't find the path and you get a 'MyProduct' entry then simply browse to the Medieval 2 Total War main folder - NOT the mod's folder

    The TESTW Fixes (for version 2.0)

    The fixes in the spoiler are now included in the 'official' patch: TESTW_Patch201.RAR

    Installation
    1. Start the TESTW launcher and make sure the 'Disable ReallyBadAI' tickbox is unchecked, then save and exit from the launcher.
    2. Place the RAR file into the medieval ii total war folder, right click it and use the 'extract here' command of your extraction application (WinRAR, 7Zip etc)

    Saw on the https://www.twcenter.net/forums/show...eleased!/page2 thread that you have already fixed these problems
    corrected road type in Whiterun

    could you release these fixes before trying to tackle the hotseat problem? as it seems that it will consume a lot of time. if it's too much work to release the fixes separately, then don't worry, I can wait.

    Isn't there a way to make ReallyBadAI variant with less backstabbing? It's fun but it takes to much to manage wars on all fronts, especially with many-neighboured factions Cyrodiil, Crowns, Sadras/Hlaalu,......

    The vampires in western Tamriel have replenishing rate 67 turns. Is this intended?

    Not exactly sure which file to edit, and how, where the attack attitude on the strat map is concerned. Maybe the AI guys can help?
    I only added 2 missing 'material' lines in the EDB, the recruitment rate is original. My guess would be a that it is a typo (wrong decimal).

    Is there a way to remove the dirt effect on the units? Doesn't seem to look right. They seem to appear dirty straight away

    Rename (or delete) the ...\mods\The_Elder_Scrolls\data\overlaytextures folder - that will revert then to the default mode.

    I have now marked non save game items in the OP's version history. While getting installed they will not take effect until a new game is started. They will also not interfere with a current game.
