Re: Question/solution about DirectX and Steam / Windows 10
Just to complete the explanation of my configuration:
- I have taken off the last "-ne" of the launch properties because I do not like it much when the game is not full screen (this may cause the problem);
- Each turn, often more than once per turn, the game freezes as I go around my regions and crash without any message.
Thank you again!

Re: Question/solution about DirectX and Steam / Windows 10
Apparently the problem is only with the campaign graphics, not with battle graphics, battles go as a charm. So any solution (I am not familiar with IT, so I do not know wheter I should put e.g. "antialiasing" off, whether this impact the campaign graphics or the battle graphics) about the campaign would be greatly appreciated .

Re: Question/solution about DirectX and Steam / Windows 10
What fixed things for me was making sure the mod is running in windows 7 compatibility mode (as admin, for all users). Have you tried that?

Re: Question/solution about DirectX and Steam / Windows 10
Dear webba,
I have not tried that. In fact, I do not know how to ensure that the mod is running in windows 7 compatibility mode. Sorry, I am really stupid on IT! Is there a quick explanation somewhere?
Thank you,
FFJean

No worries, I’ll take some screenshots to show how it’s done as soon as I can.
