CTD right from the start SS6.4

I tried installing SS6.4 but right after the loading screen, it crashes down back to the desktop

it happened to me once that despite installing everything corectly it just wasnt working, reinstalled again exactly the same way and this time it worked

so read again all the instructions CAREFULLY and reinstall

Do I have to do the 4gb patch?

Please can you confirm as whether you are using WN7 or WN10 and is it a Steam based product or disc?

My SS works fine! I just need to finish editing the export_destract_building and I am good to go. I have not had any problems so far. Check the system log to see what the problem is.
