Field Battle Terrain

I'm not sure if it's me or what but lately when getting back into Rome II and now with DeI and many submods, I've been experiencing lot of battle where the map is pretty crazy in terms of terrain layout. I mean big hills and odd cliffs/dips. Sometimes the whole map is tilted and my battles are fought sideways lol, and just overall very unfriendly for my cav and such. I've seen some where it literally has to be a bug, a portion of the map went like almost straight down. Forgot to take a picture of it to show you guys.

Just really wondering if the DeI team made any changes to the battle maps or if any of you notice this too.

Found a battle that not as bad as some I get but a bit annoying and right next to it is open field lol much better for a open battle.

Ah ok, then it was the developers who created odd map designs and such. Sucks because when on the campaign map, you sometimes cant tell what the terrain will look like, like some other TW games let you take a peek at the terrain beforehand. It's a shame we cant edit the battles and map because I know for a fact we'd have some pretty kick ass designs and historically authentic siege battles going on. Not to mention all the same settlement layouts.

I still have the small hope that a TED editor and battle card editor will be added here. Rome 2 is still one of the most popular games, the game numbers speak volumes even now.
