Chance for startpos.esf source?
Hey there,
since the assembly kit will allow us to conveniently edit the startpos.esf raw data, will there ever be a chance for a 1.2.5 source release?
I'm trying to make a personal mod to increase starting difficulty for Rome, based on DeI, but unfortunately it's a pita to deal with anything related to adding units/changing regions etc., inside pfm.

Re: Chance for startpos.esf source?
Sadly, I would have to remake the GC startpos from scratch since we don't have one either. The one I used is no longer functional after the many updates CA did over the past year. Maybe one day I can redo it, but unfortunately it would probably take at least 6 months if not a year to do properly (with testing).

And there's no way for reverse engineering a compiled .esf yet?
How do you enable changes to initial army composition? The good old hacky way based on my tutorial, or did you find something more reliable?

You can change units, buildings, etc in an existing startpos by editing it directly. However, you can't really add ones that aren't already there.
