    No, archers with shortbow use the same animation set like those with longbow (+ both have disabled string anim, because I don't know how to edit vanilla string anim)

    Progress with campaign map (High Elves Update):


    Things done:
    - Added all new regions (27) (except Ered Luin - will be in patch with dwarves)
    - Added farms and ports
    - Added rivers
    - Added roads and trade routes (on land and sea)
    - Added heighmap and detail map (detail map it tekstures for ground)
    - Added Kingdom of Lindon on campaign map
    - Added 7 minor wildmen faction in Eriador
    - Updated minimap
    - Added trees models (later I will fix this a bit)
    - Added groundtypes (information where are plains, where forest, where mountains etc.)
    - Added buildings for Kingdom of Lindon (not all yet)
    - Configureed uniforms and animations for Lindon armies etc (basic)
    - Added some starting units for Kingdom of Lindon (and for minor factions)
    - Added some starting buildings and starting culture in regions
    - Added resources
    - Kingdom of Lindon has basic roster
    - Added building icons for Lindon
    - Added unit cards


    Things to do:
    - Try balace this campaign
    - Add Gil-Galad uniform and bodyguard for campaign
    - Add models for Kingdom of Lindon settlement
    - Maybe some fixes for heighmap + add farms on details map
    - Things about I forgot now >.<
    - Bonus things which are not nessesary to make this part of campaign playable

    Let's be honest: I spent very too much time on work on this build. And probably here is less new content than many of you expects.
    But I hope that you will enjoy on play of this build ^^
    Now I'm starting work on adding provinces in Calenardhon to campaign map (you can tell me whether you're interesting to see timelapse from project and implement part of campaign map )

    Not save compatible

    Main changes in Alpha v0.2.0:
    - 27 new provinces (added Eriador)
    - New playable faction and culture: Kingdom of Lindon
    - 9 new elven units (12 units for Lindon in total)
    - Armor for Gil-Galad
    - Basic tech tree for elves
    - Improvments for campaign map - more forest
    - New building icons for elves by Sara Temer
    - Some new building icons (for Numenorean) by Mareon
    - Added some additional Wildmen factions in Eriador
    - Increased starting money for Haradrim and Wildmen factions
    - Decreased starting money for Numenoreans factions
    - Removed starting fleet for Empire of Numenor (I hope, that now Pharazon stop attack Pelargir instead fight with Miriel)
    - Colony in Umbar get starting fleet (I hope that now will be more probably that they will send help to Empire of Numenor)
    - Removed Elven District building chain for Numenorean Elendili factions (now elven Teleri units are available in some provinces from military port chain)
    - Changed rebelions in Numenor - now if region owned to Kingdom of Numenor then rebelions will be from Empire of Numenor. And if region owned to Empire of Numenor then rebelions will be from Kingdom of Numenor.

    This is very impressive work. I hope this continues development all the way through. I was dreading one of those battle-only mods, it's great to see a mod with a playable campaign (even if it's WIP).

    @Large Hazard Well, for me mods with only custom battles isn't interesting, so in my mod I focused on create campaign mod, so from first release campaign is available

    And I have small preview of next version:

    New provinces which will be added in Calenardhon Update (Alpha v0.2.1). Let me know if you have idea on additional settlements (localisation and name) ^^

    If you are in need of settlement ideas to populate Calenardhon and Eriador, you could take inspiration from DCI : Last Alliance for Medieval II which I assume is focused on the same timeframe .

    New update is out! Download link in first post

    Main changes in Alpha v0.2.1:
    - 11 new provinces (7 in Calenardhon and 4 in Gondor) - all under Wildmen control
    - Removed provinces on Tolfalas Island (because I can’t find way to fix problems with this island, maybe I will back to this later)
    - Removed River Ports on rivers: Harnen, Gwathlo, Baranduin and Lhun (caused more problems than was useful)
    - Changed this rivers to standard rivers (before it was sea territory, but too small to navigate fleet) - except part of Harnen and part of Gwathlo - but it would be too long to explain this problem here
    - Fixes for land and sea trade routes and also roads around this rivers
    - Probably fixed permanent crash which could be on Kingdom of Lindon AI turn
    - All faction leaders which unique outfit and bodyguard are now immortal - temporary solution to limit situation when random characters use outfits belonging to important characters
    - Added new building icons for Wildmen
    - Added elven faction in Edhellond (they use now Lindon’s roster, buildings, technologies, etc. - it placeholder, later they will be Galadhrim subfaction)
    - Added more variants of colours for elven tunics
    - Test - changes in height map in Numenor - I'm trying to make campaign landscape more good looking but idk whether it looks better ;-;
    - Added region borders on minimap - now should be more readable
    - Fixed sea ground type in place where is trading point with dwarves from Orocarni (no more fleets suffer sea's attrition in this place)
    - Removed wall’s cannons in siege battles
    - Some other small fixes

    Very nice models. Just to be pedantic a bit, about the forearm protection, shouldn't be it slightly thiner around the wrist, especially for the armored one?

    Actually, I think it doesn't touch the wrist itself. It seems to be attached to the lower arm and leave the wrist free to move.

    It does, yes. I just find it looking thick on the pic. However, it may look better in game as this can be due to the view angle of that pic

    Bracers probably will be fixed in free time - before was different tunic model under bracers and size of bracers is fit to this old tunic, so looks on too large on new.
