No, it's not COVID. Our team is delayed due to the fact our modellers were commissioned by museums for major projects. Those projects end in a couple months, and I know Stealth4Health is already working on new assets.
We do have work ongoing such as this baldric and sword model, although I can't offer much for previews at the moments. Hopefully we should be able to show some new building assets soon.

Excellent news. Also have you considered partnering with other modders? Beginning of the End: Rise of Islam have a lot of new Sassanian assets from horse armour to maces. I know you guys said in the future you wanted to do a grand campaign version too and that may alleviate some work.

Yes we will be doing new building models.
No we will likely not be partnering with "Beginning of the End." They seem to be very keen on ignoring any of my recommendations to fix the massive issues with historical accuracy in their mod.
They enjoy basing their units and info off of horribly outdated osprey illustrations and the like, rather than actual archaeological evidence, and seem unable to filter out fantastical interpretations of period art and focus on archaeology or even context.
Brilliant I’m so glad this mod is still in the works will you guys be overhauling the battles?
Discord page??
