Are armored camels possible in R2/DEI?

Some stronger camels for the Arab factions would be soooooo cool. If there’s sources for it I 100% support adding them.

I just did a custom battle with the REM (Real Experience Mod) and they have some crazy looking Armored Camels and Riders for the Sassanids (Empire Divided) Definitely not realistic but they do look badass.....
Horse Cataphracts are already slow enough, imagine trying to get a fully armored camel up to a high enough speed to smash anything

To the desert tribals, camels were historically nothing more than mules and extra water supply for desert treks (see Khalid Ibn Walid surprising the Byzantines by coming out of an impassable desert by overfilling his camels with water and sewing their mouths shut)

Probably the only reason Camels were even used by these desert tribals throughout history is because they do a pretty good job at freaking out horses much of the time, they were basically an anti cavalry tactic.
Also from my memory of reading Islamic military history, there were instances where Arab tribes would use double hump camels for a semi mobile archer platforms.... I doubt they were armored in any way though

Nabateans also used quite a bit of camels. There was even a battle where Macedonians sent 4000 infantry and 500 cavalry to do a raid into Nabatea, only to be destroyed by a force of 8000 camels without any other support. Like at the battle of Nisbis, they were also mentioned here as javeliners.

Now that I think of it, are there any Roman troops riding camels? Since there seems to be some sources for these troops to have existed in the first and second century AD https://weaponsandwarfare.com/2015/11/08/8923/
