No it does not, but it explains why many members did act like they did. I acted immaturely several times over the past few days, but i was banned, unbanned, put on global ignore, taken off global ignore, put back on global ignore and taken off it again. It's enough to push some people over the edge.

I don't think thats a valid excuse. The same thing happened to members like Fab and Simetrical... I didn't see them acting like 2 year olds yesterday spamming threads. Everything that occured yesterday, bans and ignores were all justified by the actions of the people that received them. Everyone that was banned or put on global ignore was participating in the riot. To me, trying to say you were justified is mighty hypocritical, especially when I look at how I was treated. The things people have said about me the last few days, and I don't mean that whole I shouldn't moderate thread, I mean being called stuff like a "spineless :wub:er" and what not for nothing more than trying to keep the peace. The hypocrisy and the double standards imposed by the rioters is, imo, disgusting.

Everyone that was banned or put on global ignore was participating in the riot.

That is just not true. Fabolous, Mimirswell, Imb39, Simetrical(for a time), tactical withdrawal are just some of the names that come to mind of people who were banned/put on global ignore/deleted who were not taking part in the riots.

Do you think we'd spam the hell out of this place for no reason? We had a reason and the reason was we had had our right to post on the forum removed for nothing more than disagreeing with the banning of a few members who were banned for no reason.

Now just give it a rest for heaven's sake...I want to get on with moderating the forum...

If the admins don't want you posting they are fully within their right to ban you without explanation. And if you come back with duplicate accounts and spam the forums, they are again within their rights to get rid of you. IMB, I must say that I you are right about the misinformation. I would assume archer was working under the same misinformation. We were told Ogre had no intention to sell. 7 new moderators were put in place last evening and a ranks system was being set up. We were preparing to go back to normal once the riots stopped the offending members left to their own forum. To see the turn of events certainly has me a little upset at Orge, and it makes me feel like I was used in a dubious way.

I hate to break it to you, but even at the PEAK of the global ignores the forum was still just as active as it was before archer even resigned. THe forums stats don't lie.

Well it is easy for you to sit there and say the stats dont lie when none of us have even seen them. But as far as I can tell, it really looked like TWC was getting a lack of posts, this was especially in the TW area's, it was often up to 10 mins before a new post in there.
I also noticed that there was less than 80 members on at certian points, I havent seen that since a few months before M2TW came out.
And if it really was just as active with the global ignores bit, then who are these extra one time members? Did they all suddenly decide to log on? If the vast majority of the majorly active and high posting members were banned/silenced then this would suggest that activity would go drastically down, unless suddenyl lots of new or unactive members came on, which I everly doubt happened. Occams Razor theory suggests that you are lying, you talk about board stastistics without showing them as you think no one will challenge them, well I just did.
Either that or you also forgot to remove all the spam from the stastistics.

The sad thing is that you think that TWC could have ever gotten back to normal with out the offending members, as they make up the main part of the community. The modders would have soon left as one of you guys was meddling with one of thier subforums, not to mention the censor you put on made it difficult for modders to communicate certian phrases, I was laughing when I seen the Invasio Barbarorum sub forum!
CA was also offended at ON calling everything on thier network theirs, this is clearly wrong they are the modders intellectual property and CA's property, nothing to do with ON. Not to mention that it took you guys over an hour to crack down on a thread concerning no cd cracks, pardon the pun.
I dont think CA were too happy either when they found out about the appointment of Irunintospears as a mod here, who according to my sources was banned for CA bashing on their forums. As well as appointing a homophobic moderator, you also appointed a facist mod who served a suspension for homophobia and racism as well I think, although I would hope that particular mod would rather put that behind him, so I wont name him.
So without CA's endorsment and the mods the only thing at TWC would have been the CC. But wait, almost everyone who was acctive in the CC was either banned or put on the ignore list.

I didn't want to say anything more but this post has forced me to. The part in bold is what I can't understand. You reported that thread and was eventually dealt with. However, we were so OVERWHELMED and inundated with spam created by you and like members that it was hard to get to every thing that actually required our attention. You only have yourself to blame for moderating being a little slower yesterday. And stop saying you as if I had anything to do with any of the things you are angered by, I was just a moderator that wanted to help moderate the TW section, however it didn't stop people throwing insults my way in the form of "spineless cock sucker" "arrogant *******" and the like.

And your wrong about the stats. The posting during the normal peak times was completely normal and even above normal thanks to all the spamming. The stats for the forum up until the day of the riot where normal (even increase in total visits) and an increase in membership (these stats were given before the global ignore and therefore are not affected by the duplicate accounts).

Members like me were banned first, then unbanned, then put into blobal ignore list, it was this time when people started to create dublicate accounts, not when people were banned, and far as I know ToS does not deny creating dublicate accounts unless being suspended.

But were our actions right or wrong at the current time, I don't know, should we be ashamed of the results, definetly not.

Let's start rebuilding the town, we need all the hands to rebuild what we had, and to make the town even more magnificent then before, no need to argue about this longer, now we just have to make it sure it won't happen again.

To be honest, from my understanding, I would not blame Ogre. He did not know, for example, that my account ws deleted. I'd also like to point out that I posted for people to remain calm (in the Org) and Sim posted here too. That despite the actions taken out on me and giga. There was so much happening behind the scenes and I was intimidated too.

I have either made peace with others, or offered to. I cannot defend the actions of all and I have already begun to draw up a staff policy based upon the events of last week. It isn't perfect but it's a start.

The ToS is a contract. As I said, it's a quid pro quo, and if only one side is willing to honour the bargain, it's time to re-evaluate.

I devote minimum time to read other threads except my own forum.
I did not understand what happened only received about 10-12 messages saying
about a general problem without reasoning and a lot of spam links.

I still do not know what happened and honestly I do not like to see people responsible for a forum and thousands of fans to quarrel every 2-3 months about virtual benefits.

Therefore I honestly declare my bad temper about this new incident and not to someone specifically but it seems it goes to all the team responsible for the forum.

I am surprised you had time to see the stats. At the end of the day, developments were happening. You lies, damned lies and statistics. What would have been interesting would be what happened after the new website was set up (is it still being worked on?)

I don't want to go over the ins and outs of the preparation for our possible departure, but it was never something that was considered the first choice.
