Destroy Zhong Dynasty Mission

Greetings. I’ve ran into an issue where in the year 197 Yuan Shu founds the Zhong Dynasty and you are told to destroy him. the prize money is supposed to be 40,000 in measures yet only after one turn after the mission begins the script tells you’ve failed which always leaves what should happen if you complete the mission as a mystery

I could easily use the cheat engine to give myself the cash so I’m just wondering why is it the mission always seems to do this?

I posted about this same thing somewhere (however I can’t find it), but it is a false failure message. Just ignore it. When Huainan/Zhong is thoroughly beaten down, you will receive the success message and the reward.
