Bran Mac Born's NTW3 v9.0 Single Player Campaign AI Settings

Hi Brian, have been completely out of the loop for a few year's now. Have upgraded my p.c and I'm interested in downloading the latest NTW 3 game , with I presume, an improved single player AI? What do I need to do?

Download the v8.8 Campaign patch, place it in the data folder and use Winrar to "extract here": https://www.moddb.com/mods/napoleoni...campaign-patch
Then download NTW3 v8.8 Classic Battle patch from ModDB to update : https://www.moddb.com/mods/napoleoni...iii-version-88
NTW3 has an easy installer, right click and run as administrator -just point it to where your Napoleon Total War is installed.

Download the Bran Campaign AI sub mod and follow instructions that are posted on page 1.

Hi sory to bother with this but i am having some problem the game crashes on me when i start a campaing with this db, the base mod without this works just fine. I have it with the last patch and i follow the install instractions but cant get it to work.

Any ideas?

You need both files from first post installed, in that order. I skipped the first one because second supposedly already contains it according to description, but that is not true.

Yepp... Im gonna need some help with my CTD

Installed the following:

NTW
NTW3-8.7-Core (included are NTW3-8.7-Core-1a.bin, NTW3-8.7-Core-1b.bin, NTW3-8.7-Core-1c.bin
NTW3-8.8-Patch.1
& finally Bran Macs db.pack file

I launch the game and get into the menu, but when i start a new campaign i CTD on the loading screen, it also says NTW 8.2 on the Denmark description in campaigns of the coalition

I do not really understand the instructions.. I cannot find the download link for the mod anywhere. Am I missing something?
I have now installed the NTW3 8.7 version and downloaded and installed the NTW3 8.8 patch.
Does that one include Bran mac Born's campaign mod?

Bran Mac Born's mod is a stand alone addition to the NTW3 v8.8 campaign game. The download is listed below the campaign selection menu pic on page one:

If you're referring to the army size it should be medium units (normal) for the campaign game.

hello friends. ive managed to get the submod up and running. everything looks fine: added musket range, the gilbatar fort and etc. but i have a problem, the AI is still bobling and sometimes completely freezes into place, when the units finally engage, musket fire is even more deadly than in vanilla, units are litrally melting away. any ideas please

You'll have to ask Bran about the changes he made to the db tables. It's a secret family recipe

Yes it should be, the v8.9 patch was only for the Classic Battle mod and did not change the campaign files

Apologies for being so dense but after looking at the above replies it's still confusing - after installing the first 2 files from moddb I take it I should then install the db.rar for a total of 3 files ? Thanks so much ...
