Thread: Children almost always die

  1. #1

    Default Children almost always die

I'm in a campaign playing as Roma and 300+ turns in and I've only had 1 child make it to adulthood. Is there something wrong I might be doing?

1 child only? That is extreme! Either that is indeed a bug or very, very unlucky.

Well, I have searched through our bug reports and that's the only one so far (haven't checked FB) so it's probably a conflict.

Just as a note, it's not possible to erase the child death event no matter what value you put into campaign variables (which means there is some hardcoded value).

Luck of the draw. Happens to me, but not every campaign. Diodpopus of Baktria loses his wife every couple years. I think he is a serial killer.

The Baktrian faction leader wife bug is a weird one, it was in vanilla too and they did something to fix it but I have no idea what it was...and I have no idea what causes it.
