Saved game issue

I had to reload Windows due to an issue with my PC, which uninstalled EB2.35 from my machine. I have re-installed EB2.35, but it won't load the saved games that I've got. The saved games were saved in EB2.35. When I try to load the saved games, the game just returns to the main menu instead of loading the game. Is anyone able to help with this please?

Usually a save game will fail because you lack something - maybe a submod, an edit in any of the campaign files or something similar. Or it's a corruption of the file, which seems likely based on how the game was uninstalled.

But there's simply no realistic way for anyone to know what the issue is - you'll have to try different approaches and try to remember the state of your first install.
