    Default Orcs of Gundabad Reskin(WIP)

    This is a work in progress reskin the orcs of Gundabad. This sub-mods focus is to make the Gundabad units appear like the orcs in the Hobbit films with as much accuracy as I can possibly model and texture on my own. However, if help is offered I will accept if the individual provides some modding Credentials or can manage tasks that I can't perform. This project has been in my to-do list for a while now and now that I am comfortable with my modeling abilities most of the textures and model assets will be made by me.

    Very nice work Taurion and wish you luck.
    Isnt Callistonian just posted some new Gundabad high tier units in Heirs of Elendil discord, you should look if you didnt already.

    I'm not satisfied with the models and texture in LEO's mod; which is why I'm not going to use his assets, but I will study them to see how they were made and then make them my own way.

    Good luck, Gundabad needs that re-skin. I still don't know how to use milkshape at all, if don't, i would help you. Btw, i compiled some Gundabad's units, perhaps this helps you to your purpose:

    I like the brutality of the brute troll, but it's kind of dumb and useless. Scythed trolls, on the other hand, are a cool concept, and somewhat practical but for their size, they should move a bit slower. As for Gundabad Ogers I personally don't care about them and their not bad as an Idea.

    Yep, the brute trolls are killing machines, but, being blind, make them pretty useless, when the rider dies xD. Maybe the scythed trolls should move a bit slower, altough being a variety from Olog-hai, called Guldur Olog-Hai, they probably have proficiency with heavy armor, like their parents, negating speed penalties & being able to manage the weight and bulk from their armors. I like Gundabad Ogres, as a support unit, they're a fast & strong, middle between goblins & trolls, although pretty vulnerable to missiles lacking armor, like the Brute Troll too.

    I hope that someone introduce all of them for Third Age mods, it would be really cool to have them, although i don't know if they could be implemented by the harcoded limits.

    What I mean from moving slower is any organism that is of that size or larger would more a bit more slowly because their more mass being moved around the weight of the armor wouldn't do anything as you've said, as for implementing them with the hard-coded limits all someone has to do is edit the EXE but were not allowed to do so if apart of TWC and it's in a legal area if that modified EXE is distributed.

    I was refering to free slots, if still there are enough for the 3 mentioned units.

    Taurion, my submod already have gundabad units based in the movies. check it out, you may find something you want from there.

    If i don't remember bad, in the last dev's diary, it's planned to add a new unit for the next patch, did you count it too?

    As of this moment, there's only room for two units but if there is more room in the next version I may add something new.
