What people were made satraps in the Seleucid Empire?

It says in the text that the king appoints (understandably) loyal persons to satraps. But what kind of people? Rich landowners? Generals? Someone else?

The Seleucid satraps were called "strategos" (a military title normally) and unlike the Persian satraps before them, they weren't responsible for financial matters in their province. There was a separate official for the financial/economic side. So, since the Seleucid satraps/strategoi were responsible mostly for law and order and the local military and military settlers this will affect what type of men they were, generally speaking.
They were more of a military officer type I guess. Especially those of Macedonian/Greek descent. Someone more knowledgeable about this could say more. If there is actually more known than that they were "friends" of the king.

Usually Greeks from Asia Minor or Greeks of settler ancestry, occasionally local landed aristocrats, those were usually of Persian and Median ancestry and are a leftover of old Achaemenid elite. All of these had some military background, especially Greeks.
