alhoon is not a member of the infamous Hoons: a (fictional) nazi-sympathizer KKK clan. Of course, no Hoon would openly admit affiliation to the uninitiated.
"Angry Uncle Gordon" describes me well.

For those who are interested...
I haven't watched it entirely yet (1.5 hrs) but can say that the trailer is slightly longer than before and the early access is planned for the 30th of September.

Yeah ive read something this morning that the story actually begins in the outer planes, like in Avernus i think. Then the story continues through the planes, not sure how many and which, before we get to the actual Faerun and Baldurs Gate. Im not sure how i like this idea. If the whole plane journey will be something similar to a tutorial phase of the game then its fine with me, but a much longer travel through the planes is not something im looking forward to. Also, ive seen the recommended system requirements and theyre too demanding for me now. I will need a new PC.
The content for the Early Access is impressive. That's a lot more than for the one of DoS 2 for instance.
A few figures between both EA I got from another site and to get an idea:
- 20 hours playable many times obviously.
- Fights: 80 in BG3 vs 22 in DoS2
- Characters: 596 in BG3 (ok, not all can be encountered. It would depend of the player choices of course) vs 142 in DoS2
- Spells/Actions: 146 in BG3 vs 69 in DoS2
- Lines of Dialogue: 45,980 in BG3 vs 17,600 in DoS2
There will also be:
- 5 recruitable characters (Astarion, Gale, Laze'zel, Shadowheart and Wyll)
- Characters can reach level 4 in the EA.
- Evil alignment fully playable
Edit: I forgot, here are the system requierements:
Baldur's Gate 3 System Requirements (minimum)
- CPU: Intel Core i5-4690 / AMD FX 4350
- CPU SPEED: Info
- RAM: 8 GB
- OS: Windows 7 SP1 64-bit or Windows 8.1 64-bit or Windows 10 64-bit
- VIDEO CARD: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 or ATI Radeon R9 280X
- PIXEL SHADERS: 5.0
- VERTEX SHADERS: 5.0
- FREE DISK SPACE: 70 Gb
- DEDICATED VIDEO RAM: 1024 MB
Baldur's Gate 3 Recommended Requirements
- CPU: Intel Core i7-4770k / AMD Ryzen 5 1500X
- CPU SPEED: Info
- RAM: 16 GB
- OS: Windows 7 SP1 64-bit or Windows 8.1 64-bit or Windows 10 64-bit
- VIDEO CARD: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB or AMD RX 580
- PIXEL SHADERS: 5.0
- VERTEX SHADERS: 5.0

So yes, I'll need a new pc as well to play that stuff

Huh. I'm just scraping the minimum requirements I think.
Looks like the EA is postponed for about a week, for the 6th of October 2020: https://twitter.com/larianstudios/st...012246018?s=20

I need some crazy good reviews right now and the only thing ive read so far was not really optimistic, a review after first 15 hours of gameplay was rather dissapointing. Im not gonna spoil anything here. On top of that, the idea of an early access game is not something i can support with my wallet. I will only pay for the full game. The fact that this is early access, makes a rather perfect excuse for anything that the people wont like. I just hope by the time the full release arrives, the game will be worth playing.
Ive read some more reviews, but again not very positive.
The price for the EA includes the future full game actually. So, the only thing is that people pay for a unachieved game but no extra money will be requier later on.
Actually, the concept is more fair than the DLC's widely used by some game companies. The other advantage is to test the game with a large amount of beta testers somehow.
I also don't share Vladyvid opinion. Most of the reviews (in French) I've seen so far are good:
- D&D 5 respected
- Excellent graphics
- Dynamic fights
- Spells casting animations correct
- A lot of informations are given about the environment
- Intuitive gameplay but the path chosen by the player remains uncertain.
The biggest "issue" reported so far is about crashes for the multiplayer game.
Honestly, if I had the PC able to handle it and enough free time to play, I'd buy it.
