Has anyone figured out how to remove character "glow"?

I've scoured all the tables I could imagine have something to do with this and have not been able to completely do away with the obnoxious highlighting of generals in battle. I removed all vxf entries in the battle_entities table, which seemed to reduce it ever so slightly, but it's quite apparent still.

Has anyone else figured this out yet?

Pretty sure you can just deselect it in the spacebar menu when playing a battle.

I think he's referring to the illumination around a general or units. It could be related to SSAO and helps to turn it off.

I think i found something when messing w models in 3ds max.

There is this odd blurb outline that shapes the character model in one of its many lods in 3ds max.

Open assembly kit folder, find the examples folder,
extract CaoCao
and take a look at his file inside 3ds max.

getting rid of this would probably get rid of the glow for that char.

quite tedious to do all of them id say
